Hand tattoos have become more acceptable due to Cheryl Cole. When it comes to hand tattoos most women generally start out with a small star or flower. Common placement is usually under the thumb, between the thumb and forefinger, or just above the hand on the upper part of the wrist. Most people want the tattoo on the side of there hand, the best place to have it would be on the bone part of your hand. I love designing tattoos…I was asked by a friend to design her a tattoo – This is what she had to say: I approached ink4ndneedles to design my tattoo as I know Kay as a very artistic designer. I gave her very little by way of a brief, initials of family members going down my neck. Kay took the time to listen to my thoughts on the design which I wanted to be ‘feminine’ and ‘light’. After a couple of days Kay got back to me with a selection of initial designs, all of which I loved and were exactly what I was looking for.
