Mr Wise…Owl Tattoos

After seeing this clip from the phone shop about “Mr Wise” I wondered what owl tattoos actually mean and whether or not they can look nice?   Owl tattoos can have many different meanings. It can be personal to you, or it can relate to the mythology of owls–they’re very important in Native American culture, where they signify mystery, wisdom, secrets,transition, intelligence, and protection (there are many more!). An owl generally symbolizes knowledge, being wise but can depend on each individual persons interpretation. I think some owl tattoos can be really nice, and they mean alot to the people who have the tattoos. But some look better than others, everyone has there own opinion. »

Cher Lloyd New Tattoo

Cher Lloyd posted a black and white photo on her Twitter page of her arm, which had been inked with five butterflies. They were joined by a question mark and a peace sign, as she added to the bird carrying a ribbon that she already had. On the ribbon is the word ‘Boo’, a tribute to her late uncle Edward ‘Boo Boo’ Smith, who died last September after being tricked into taking a heroin substitute. She had the design of the bird inked two months ago and also had an empty birdcage on her left arm to look as though the bird had flown free from it when she put her arms together. Hand tattoos have become more acceptable due to Cheryl Cole. When it comes to hand tattoos most women generally start out with a small star or flower. Common placement is usually under the thumb, between the thumb and forefinger, or just above the hand on the upper part of the wrist. Family Neck Tattoo

I love designing tattoos…I was asked by a friend to design her a tattoo – This is what she had to say: I approached ink4ndneedles to design my tattoo as I know Kay as a very artistic designer. I gave her very little by way of a brief, initials of family members going down my neck. Kay took the time to listen to my thoughts on the design which I wanted to be ‘feminine’ and ‘light’. After a couple of days Kay got back to me with a selection of initial designs, all of which I loved and were exactly what I was looking for.
